how technology shape modern personal selling

Today, i am going to talk about how technology shape modern personal selling. I been study Marketing for the past two years. I found that personal selling has been influenced by technology. Salespeople need to embrace technological development, mobile phone, internet,GPS tracking devices have mean too much to modern salesperson, it is much more convenience, contactable, travel less. these advances have created challenges for salesperson, not least the fact instant communication can increase customer expectation action by salesperson.

Today, i am going to talk about the apple strudels from Corica Pastries located Northbridge, Perth. this is a very best apple strudels that i never eat before so i decide to share it in my blog. Corica Pastries is located at the corner of Aberdeen street. you can go by car and also public transport, BLUE CAT bus. My friend had told me the apple strudels is quite famous so i need to make a reservation at least one day in advance. However, the apple strudels is very popular in Perth so it is common for the tourists to pack it back to the country. The shop comes with a hand carry lovely, friendly box. One is rest assured that there is no sight of messy, disoriented apple strudel when one gets home.

She run the night - Nike

Nike had decided to challenge the community by announcing 13KM night race for only female runners. Nike had encouraged woman to share the running experiences rather than just promote the shoes and clothes. She Runs is one of the most successful campaigns in 2012. It is a power of connected and creative idea which helps community to form, shift brand perceptions and changes how people talk about the product.

Mercedes Benz advertising by facebook

As i was mention about social media in my social media post, Mercedes benz did a very good job in this digital advertising. Since traditional media is losing its the effectiveness due to social media
Mercedes needs to be creative in advertising to reach the consumer and this is why Mercedes Benz decided to uses social media, such as Facebook and Instagram to promote new car models. The aim of Mercedes Facebook page is to acquire support from the public by pressing “like”, engaging in conversation through “comment” by the users and influence through“sharing” links, video, events and gallery. In addition, it is also another way to promote a campaign or story to target audience. Mercedes Benz believes that using social media to promote their advertising campaigns are having a better chance of reaching the target audience rather than used traditional media.

social media

Digital marketing has a few of format. The format are divided into 3 which is social media, owned media and paid media.
Today, i am going to talk about social media. Social media are digital platform that facilitate people to share photo, news, video and so on. For the example, Facebook. They use the internet to link with friends, families in a way that sharing opinion, audio, video, photo and etc. On the other hand, social media also provide marketer with new opportunity to consumer. It can allow the consumer to utilise the wisdom of product to make a most informed purchase decision.

Oh Hi Hello!

Hey you there! Have you had the experience where you were so determined to start documenting your life? When you are in awe of the reputable celebrity bloggers whose main income is made just by blogging their lives, and then wonder why are they so captivating and how can I be like one of them?

For me its a big yes. Since when I was younger I have aspired to keep a pretty book as my diary, on new year's day promising myself that I would write an entry a day for the next 364 days. I probably kept it up for about 2 weeks and the novelty dies down. On the last day of the year, I would probably see an almost empty book, tear out those pathetic pages, and then using the book as a regular notebook.

As I grew older, the trend of blog writing started and of course I did, I jumped on the bandwagon and started my own blog. It was difficult start writing. But for a good period of time I was actually consistently posting for almost 2 years. During that period, I realised that with regular practise with writing, my language skills actually improved. And simply because I have a bunch friends, whom we share our blogs with and we faithfully read each other's contents, I wan constantly finding things to write about.

It started with writing about daily life, and soon it became mundane. Then I wrote about food, travels and unique experiences. It further ventured out into political views and more worldly topics. In order to write these, and not stupid to those friends who were reading it,  I started to read more, do research before I even start writing. It developed into a hobby, a passion with writing. The more I write, the more wanted to read more, to express more. It was cycle, and I was enjoying every bit of it.

But soon, the blogging trend died down, and I became really busy with school work, leaving me little time left for myself, least to say write stuff that are not school relevant.

I would say it is really hard to pick up writing once again. To not just write about academic stuff, but also on things where my passion lies.

But I would really hope that there would be the time, where this would become habit once again.

XOXO.
